Rodenstock NA names CEO. Jim Cox has been named president and CEO of Rodenstock North America. Cox resigned his position as executive vice president for business and product development at SOLA International.

In other company news, Cox named David Eichelberger vice president of Sales at this year's Optical Laboratory Association's (OLA) meeting in San Diego.

SOLA board appoints president and CEO. SOLA International Inc.'s board of directors has appointed Jeremy C. Bishop to be the company's president and chief executive officer, replacing John E. Heine. In addition, he's been elected to the company's board of directors.

B&L announces two new executives. Bausch & Lomb has named Steven T. Schuster president of Vision Care for North America and corporate vice president, while also appointing Marie L. Smith as corporate vice president and chief information officer.

VCA new hires and promotions. Vision Council of America (VCA) has promoted Deborah Malakoff to vice president of Show and Member Relations. VCA also named Joseph S. LaMountain vice president of Strategic Communications, a new position. Brian P. Carroll was also signed on as controller.
