Retinal imaging system
■ EIDON, from CenterVue, Inc., is an FDA-cleared retinal imaging system that combines the advantages of confocal scanning with true-color imaging capabilities.
Key features include white-light, confocal imaging to facilitate diagnosis and management of retinal disease; a viewing angle of up to 110°, allowing imaging of the central retina and the periphery; multiple imaging modalities — true color, red-free and infrared — providing information concerning different layers of the retina; and minimum operator involvement.

Snow goggle
■ The Dragon Alliance 2015 Advanced Project X (APX) and Advanced Project Xs (APXs) snow goggles, distributed by Marchon Eyewear, are specifically formulated for snow conditions. Featuring Transitions self-adjusting lenses, the APX and APXs snow goggles block 100% of harmful UV rays and are color optimized to improve visual performance, enhance contrast and increase depth perception in varying light conditions. The spherical injection-molded polycarbonate lens provides improved peripheral vision, and an integrated dual lens design offers an anti-fog formula for increased visibility, the company says.

Sunglass collection
■ The BOSS Eyewear Spring/Summer 2015 collection, from Safilo, features two new sunglass styles for men: BOSS 0065/S and BOSS 0666/S. Both reflect the style synonymous with the BOSS brand and feature an Optyl construction and a patented, lightweight material, providing a comfortable fit for all-day wear, the company says.
Other frame features: a flex hinge, key-shaped bridge and a new graphic detail on the temple tips. More frames, including ophthalmic styles, will be released later in 2015.
