- Aerie Pharmaceuticals has acquired from Envisia Therapeutics Inc. the rights to use PRINT technology, a proprietary system of sustained release products engineering in ophthalmology and certain other assets. Aerie says it intends to use the technology to advance its pipeline for treatments of back-of-the-eye conditions, such as wet AMD.
- Bio-Tissue Inc. has reached a strategic agreement with Bright Optical, a Canadian ophthalmic products distributor, to bring the PROKERA biologic corneal bandage to Canadian eye professionals.
