At SECO 20/20 in Atlanta, Alcon announced that its Precision1 daily disposable contact lenses are now available nationwide in the U.S. The lenses are manufactured in verofilcon A material, include a Class 1 UV blocker (≥ 90% of UVA, ≥ 99% of UVB), have a core water content of 51% and have a Dk/t of 100 at –3.00D.

Alcon also announced the launch of the patient support program SYSTANE MyEyes and the drop SYSTANE HYDRATION PF with HydroBoost Technology. SYSTANE MyEyes is a free patient support and retention program for patients who undergo treatment with the iLUX MGD Thermal Pulsation System. The ECP offers patients the opportunity to enroll in the program, which can help build a connection between the practice and the patient for ongoing care. Patients who enroll in the program receive a patient care kit, communication regarding post-treatment expectations, tips for maintenance, SYSTANE product coupons and email reminders regarding follow-up and additional treatment.
