MACULOGIX LAUNCHES DARK ADAPTATION TEST HEADSET

Maculogix has launched the AdaptDx Pro guided by Theia headset. The headset has all the “functionality and accuracy” of the company’s AdaptDx automated dark adaptometer, though requires no dark room or external computer, Maculogix says. (Also see “What’s New,” p. 50.)

Additionally, the new device features Theia, an artificial intelligence-driven onboard technician, facilitating “reliable, consistent testing” by providing automated instructions and adaptive feedback spoken directly to the patient.
