“Open Your Eyes,” the documentary created by Emmy-Award-winning filmmaker Wayne Chesler, is now available on Amazon Prime, AppleTV, and Google Play. Created in partnership with the ALLDocs Association (alldocsod.com ), the documentary reveals to the non-ophthalmoscope-informed that optometrists can detect disease.
The documentary follows Kerry Gelb, OD, ALLDocs Association president, and influencer Chris Maraboli as they set off to Europe, North America, and Costa Rica to provide this education. Additionally, they interview neuroscience, optometry, cardiology and nephrology experts, among others in health care, to show how lifestyle changes and treatments can prevent and treat disease. Some of the OD interviewees: Jessica Steen, Craig Thomas, Stuart Richer, and Millicent Knight.
