With the continued expansion and success of Optometric Management, the OM team is excited to announce the addition of Austin Lifferth OD, FAAO, as clinical editor of the magazine.

“As clinical editor, Austin will assist our team with editorial and project planning, and the clinical review of OM content,” says April Jasper, OD, FAAO, OM’s chief optometric editor. “We look forward to his contributions in this role, beginning with the May issue of OM.”

Dr. Lifferth, who practices at Center for Sight & Dry Eye Institute in Carmel, Ind., will continue to serve as OM’s “Glaucoma” columnist, a position he has held since 2019.

A graduate of the Indiana School of Optometry, Dr. Lifferth completed his post-graduate residency program in ocular disease at the Huntington, W.Va., Veteran Affairs Medical Center. OM
