“The Global Specialty Lens Symposium is the world’s premier educational contact lens event,” writes Jason J. Nichols, OD, MPH, PhD, executive chair of the GSLS education committee. “This year’s meeting brings over 40 hours of continuing education, including general sessions, workshops and breakout sessions, so there is something for everyone interested in contact lenses.”
The symposium’s keynote address will be given by Nathan Efron, AC, DSc, PhD, BScOptom at 8:15 a.m. At 9:15 a.m., Professor Efron will appear with Loretta Szczotka-Flynn, OD, PhD, in “Soft vs. GP Lenses: The Great Debate 2.0.”
