Lumenis has announced 3 additional dates for its 2026 Accelerate education series to extend the peer-to-peer program for eyecare professionals through the end of the year. Upcoming events are scheduled for September 25 to 27 in Nashville; November 13 to 15 in Scottsdale, Arizona; and December 4 to 6 in Miami. Earlier Accelerate events were held in Orlando, New York City, Newport Beach, California, and Chicago.
The series combines clinical education, patient case studies, and discussions about practice growth presented by Laura Periman, MD; Cory Lappin, OD; and Celesta Ferreira, OD, who share their experiences incorporating treatments and technologies into their practices.
“In eye care, the most valuable insights have always come from colleagues,” said Stacey Winter, president of Lumenis North America, in a press release. “Accelerate is built on that conviction: open peer-to-peer guidance from physicians who are already offering advanced treatments and technologies in their own practices.”
Attendees also receive both live technology demonstrations and hands-on training with Lumenis’ OptiLIFT dynamic muscle stimulation technology, OptiLIGHT intense pulsed light therapy, and OptiPLUS dual-frequency radiofrequency technology. They enjoy professional networking opportunities, hosted meals, and a cocktail hour throughout the weekend.
Lumenis plans to announce additional dates and locations for the Accelerate series in 2027.
