The New England College of Optometry (NECO) and eye care industry members signed an Industry Collaborative Proclamation during SECO 20/20 in Atlanta, to focus on three key opportunities: 1) practice empowerment and acceleration, 2) public perception and expectations of optometry and 3) technology’s impact on optometry and vice versa. The proclamation came out of discussions during a NECO gathering in November, which was comprised of industry partners, media colleagues and optometry employers who met with representatives from NECO’s administration, faculty and student body.
