The International Sports Vision Association (ISVA) held its fourth annual conference “Sports Vision: Beyond 2020” in San Diego, Feb. 6 to Feb. 8. Roughly 115 professionals from optometry and other specialties gathered for the conference.
“. . . Attendees from 11 countries had the opportunity to learn techniques and practices in sports vision assessment and training from some of the leading authorities in the field, gain first-hand experience with the latest equipment, as well as interact and exchange ideas and learn from colleagues practicing sports vision,” says Gary Esterow, executive director of ISVA.
Educational topics included tips for establishing and advancing a sports vision practice, ocular nutrition to increase sports vision performance, vision therapy for improving athletic performance and optimizing athletic performance after brain injury.
