After two years, Vision Expo East returned to New York City’s Javits Center between March 31 and April 3, where it hosted hundreds of exhibitors eager to show their ophthalmic wares, and quenched the curiosity of its attendees with hours of CE.
“VEE has a unique base of attendees from all over the world,” says Josh Johnston, OD, FAAO, of Georgia Eye Partners, in Atlanta. “It was great seeing everyone again, and the excitement and energy was amazing! The exhibit floor was actually two floors, offering such a wide array of products, which was very innovative.”
Specifically, the eye care trade show staple included more than 360 exhibiting companies and greater than 230 hours of CE focusing on business planning, fashion, and patient education, among other topics of interest to eye care providers. Additionally, OptiCon, in part, provided education for opticians and ophthalmic allied professionals.
Vision Expo West will occur Sept. 14 to Sept. 17 at The Venetian Convention Center & Expo in Las Vegas. See west.visionexpo.com/en-us.html . OM
