NEW SD-OCT SYSTEM
Visionix USA recently introduced its next-generation, multimodal OCT system, the Optovue Solix FullRange OCT, in North America. According to a company press release, the Solix is built upon a foundation of high-speed SD-OCT with 120kHz ultra-high-speed scanning. It features FullRange Anterior 18 x 6.25 scans, new posterior high-density scan patterns that deliver more detail and better precision, integrated cameras for fundus, external photography, and external IR imaging, according to the press release.
CONTACT LENS-ORDERING PLATFORM
ABB Optical Group has announced the launch of its latest platform release for the Abby contact lens ordering platform. The release includes a new order status dashboard that allows the practice to view orders, delivery status updates, and tracking numbers. The performance dashboard provides insights into patient purchase behavior, including the ability to see contact lens reorder/recapture rates, as well as insights into the practice’s top contact lens products, and how adjustments in product pricing, practice discounts and rebates can affect the bottom line.
UV ANTI-FOG COATING AVAILABLE
Coburn Technologies announced the availability of the Visgard UV anti-fog coating available for use in the company’s Velocity Spin Coater platform. According to a company press release: Visgard UV delivers premium anti-fog performance with superior chemical, abrasion, and UV resistance. It is highly stable with excellent long-term adhesion under extreme temperature and high humidity conditions and prevents fogging even after repeated cleaning. The latest generation of Velocity technology, Velocity 2D, allows labs to apply two different coatings in one comprehensive, inline system.
UPDATED GUI FOR EHR SYSTEM
Compulink Healthcare Solutions announced it has delivered an updated graphical user interface (GUI) for its Advantage SMART Practice solution. Included in its Advantage 12.6 Cures Certified release, the GUI includes features such as panel displays and hover menus for quick access to information and functions. The system includes specialty specific EHR, practice management, inventory management, patient portal, patient engagement, ASC, E-Commerce, analytics, optical POS, and revenue cycle management services.

Arch Crown’s new catalog features over 100 styles of stock, pre-printed and custom printed Op-Tags and labels, a full line of bar code technology products including new lower priced bar code packages. Custom thermal transfer tags are available with reproductions of the practice logo, pricing, and description, with or without bar code to meet specifications.
