■ The 1-Day Acuvue TruEye (narafilcon A), from Vistakon, is a silicone hydrogel daily disposable lens. The contact lens features Hydraclear1 technology, which attracts tear film to maintain the natural ocular environment for all-day comfort, the company says. Also, its High O2 Consumption allows 100% corneal oxygen consumption at all points across minus and plus powers. In addition, its Class-1 UV-Blocking blocks approximately 96% of UV-A rays and greater than 99% of UV-B rays that reach the lens, the company says.

HIPAA compliance

Display system
■ The Synergy Pro Rod Display System, from OpticalDisplays.com, features a rod system for interchangeable merchandising accessories, such as shelves, signage and mirrors, and multiple frame holder options. Constructed of extruded anodized aluminum, the display system features a satin chrome finish. Synergy Pro can be used as either a locking or non-locking display system and displays up to 15 frames. Its locking frame holders secure frames with a spring-loaded lock and the use of a trigger release key.

Progressive lens
■ Autograph III, from Shamir Insight, Inc., utilizes the company’s EyePoint Technology lens design software. This software affords the ability to provide a different lens design for both hyperopic and myopic patients, the company says. Other features include Natural Posture, which shifts the near-viewing zone within the lens corridor based on the plus or minus power of the prescription, and IntelliCorridor, which allows Shamir’s designers to control the power profiles of the lens based on the needs of the wearer, the company says.
