PureVision2 Multi-Focal utilizes Bausch + Lomb's 3-Zone progressive design.
■ PureVision2 Multi-Focal (balafilcon A), from Bausch + Lomb, is a visibility-tinted contact lenses. The lenses utilize the company's 3-Zone Progressive design for improved near and intermediate vision distance clarity, the company says. The monthly, silicone hydrogel multifocal contact lenses, which feature multifocal lens technology licensed from Unilens Vision, Inc., are packaged in borate-buffered saline. PureVision2 for presbyopia contact lenses are available for extended wear up to 30 days in a full range of parameters.

Custom frames
■ Indivijual Custom Eyewear produces unique frames based on physical attributes and personal style. The company uses sculpting clay to create a mold of the nose, a measuring device to determine face and head dimensions and color charts to assess skin, hair and eye tones to guide frame construction. In addition, customers complete a questionnaire that includes occupation and hobbies to match frames to their lifestyle. Upon completion, frames are shipped for lens placement and final adjustments by optometrists and opticians, who can participate in the company's dispensing fee program.

Lab tool organization
■ Lab Kits, from Eye Designs, provide work space for organizing lab tools and frame orders. Along with plastic wall-mounted panels and aluminum shelves, open bins and multi-tool holders snap and lock into place for stability and accessibility.
