■ Alcon announced its second year of support for the Think About Your Eyes public awareness campaign, presented by the Vision Council and AOA. Alcon has committed a total of $4 million to the campaign since 2014.
■ Bausch + Lomb has appointed Greg DiPasquale as vice president of sales for its U.S. Vision Care business. Prior to joining Bausch + Lomb, Mr. DiPasquale was senior vice president for ZEISS Vision Care.
■ CooperVision division EyeCare Prime announced an addition to its LensFerry service, LensFerry S, which enables U.S. eye care practices to offer patients subscription-based ordering of 1-day contact lenses. ■ Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Inc. has discontinued its Unilateral Pricing Policy and replaced it with new programs, including a rewards program for patients, “to advocate in support of the doctor-patient relationship,” the company announced in a press release. ■ Kalpana Singh has been named division vice president and business unit manager for Reichert Technologies. Ms. Singh has more than 15 years experience in the medical device industry. OM
