VSP GLOBAL TO BUY VISIONWORKS

VSP Global has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase Visionworks, the sixth largest optical chain in the United States, with more than 700 locations in close to 40 states. It is the 65-year-old company’s single, largest investment.

“ . . . Visionworks is equally focused on advancing patient care and accessibility,” says VSP’s president and CEO Michael Guyette.

The close date will occur as soon as the necessary regulatory approvals are obtained, VSP Global says. OM
