MYOPIA CONTACT LENSES
MiSight 1 day, from CooperVision, are contact lenses designed to slow the progression of myopia in children ages 8 to 12. FDA approval was based on the results of a three-year randomized, controlled clinical trial, which shows wearers experienced less myopia progression and no serious ocular adverse events. MiSight will launch in the U.S. in March 2020.

Robert Marc is set to launch a new frame collection this month. Inspired by New York City’s West Village, the collection will feature four styles, in five colors, named for streets in the neighborhood. → CooperVision has announced expanded parameters for it Clariti 1-day toric lenses. Eye care professionals now have access to around-the-clock axes in plano to -6.00 D sphere powers with -0.75D, -1.25D and -1.75D cylinder powers. Additional axes and plus powers are expected to be released in spring 2020.
