Prevent Blindness has named Jim McGrann, president and CEO of Advancing Eyecare, as the 2026 Person of Vision Award recipient. The honor will be presented on March 11, 2026, at a gala at the Hyatt Regency Orlando during Vision Expo.

McGrann, who has over 40 years of experience in the vision industry, has held leadership roles at PECAA, Marchon, VSP Global, and VSP Vision Care, and currently serves on the board of National Vision. He is also vice chair of The Vision Council and outgoing chair of the Prevent Blindness Board of Directors.

The gala, chaired by Maureen Cavanagh (Advancing Eyecare), will support Prevent Blindness’ sight-saving mission and provide Vision Expo attendees with opportunities to connect with leaders across the industry. More details can be found at PreventBlindness.org/personofvision.OM
