BostonSight, a nonprofit eye health care organization, held its 7th annual FitAcademy Retreat for cornea and contact lens residents and fellows at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, from September 12 to 13, 2025. 

This year’s retreat brought together 33 residents from residency sites across the United States and Canada, according to a press release. The 2-day program featured clinical content and hands-on wet lab training. 

FitAcademy is a central component of BostonSight’s educational programs and it supports the organization’s broader mission to expand access to scleral lenses and high-quality clinical care worldwide, according to the company.
