iCare USA has launched iCare ALTIUS, a cloud-based platform hosted on a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act-compliant AWS backbone for capturing, managing, and sharing diagnostic images. ALTIUS offers secure, instant access to images and patient data across clinics, homes, and mobile environments and is “perfect for multi-location practices and connected care models,” according to a press release.

Features include automated image uploads from iCare devices, visual patient timelines with smart annotation tools, and side-by-side comparisons with flicker and mosaic tools to help clinicians see subtle changes in disease progression.OM
