Myopia Profile has announced the launch of Ask Kate, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered virtual assistant designed to support eye care professionals (ECPs) in managing the challenges of childhood myopia. The debut coincides with Myopia Action Month. 

According to a press release, Ask Kate is trained exclusively on Myopia Profile’s validated, evidence-based content on MyopiaProfile.com, and MyKidsVision.org and provides real-time, succinct answers, available in practitioner-focused and parent-friendly formats.

Dr. Kate Gifford, cofounder of Myopia Profile, will present performance data from a pilot study on Ask Kate at the American Academy of Optometry on Thursday, October 9, at 1:45 p.m.
