Newton, formerly Neurolens, announced that its Sequel everyday lens is now available through VSP managed vision care, according to a press release. This updated availability expands access to its Convergence Boost technology for patients who experience digital eye strain, according to the company.
Sequel lenses are designed to reduce the visual fatigue associated with prolonged screen time. According to Newton, the Sequel lens has been demonstrated to cut digital eye strain symptoms in half. In clinical and patient-reported outcomes, 91% of wearers experienced a reduction in issues linked to digital eye strain, and 4 out of 5 wearers said they would recommend the lens.
