Nonprofit Launching Resource for Those Experiencing Vision Loss

Qlaris Bio Announces Development of Combination Glaucoma Treatment
Qlaris Bio, Inc. announced that it is developing a preservative-free, fixed-dose therapy that combines the company’s QLS-111 and latanoprost. The combination treatment is for patients who have primary open angle glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and normal tension glaucoma and are unable to achieve optimal intraocular pressure (IOP) control due to the need to lower episcleral venous pressure (EVP). QLS-111 utilizes an ATP-sensitive potassium channel modulator designed to lower IOP by selectively reducing EVP.
