The Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) and VSP Vision announced that the VSP Vision Exam Rebate program will continue through 2026, extending financial support to independent practices amid ongoing economic pressures. Since its launch in July 2023, the initiative has returned $58 million to more than 2,800 practices. PECAA Max members are eligible for up to $15 per VSP commercial eye exam through June 2026, after which rebates will adjust to $10 per exam.
According to PECAA President Jonathan Worrall, the extension reflects a commitment to sustaining private practice viability during a time of increasing operational complexity. Practices enrolled by December 31, 2025, may qualify for as much as $60,000 in rebates in 2026, whereas those joining next year remain eligible for up to $30,000.
"This initiative complements our efforts to simplify provider programs and maintain prices on Marchon, Altair, and Unity products—despite the impact of tariffs—ensuring that doctors receive the value, support, and stability they need," said VSP Vision Chief Provider and Industry Solutions Officer Michelle Skinner.
