Each Ampleye Scleral lens now features a unique engraved identification number that corresponds directly to the number listed on the lens invoice. According to the company, this lens-to-invoice matching system enables practitioners to quickly verify lens parameters during the fitting process and helps prevent confusion in cases of patient handling mixups between eyes or multiple sets of lenses.

Available exclusively in the United States from Art Optical, Ampleye Scleral is a fully vaulting scleral lens system developed by the KATT Design Group to address the needs of patients who have irregular corneas and ocular surface disease. OM
