CooperVision has officially launched MiSight 1 day in Japan. To mark the milestone, the company hosted “Global and Japanese Perspectives on Myopia Control in Tokyo” on January 27, an event convening international and local experts to examine the evolution of myopia management and the expanding role of evidence-based interventions
The program featured presentations from Kyoko Ohno, MD, PhD, Tokyo University of Science; Li Lian Foo, MD, MMed(Ophth), FRCOphth, GDFM, Singapore National Eye Centre; and Yasutaka Kubota, MD, Kubota Eye Clinic. In addition, CooperVision leaders Jennifer Lambert, vice president, myopia management and cornea care; Toshiyuki Akagi, marketing director, Japan; and Chiyo Oka, area marketing lead, North Asia, shared real-world experience with MiSight 1 day and its significance for Japan.
